Tamiya 1/48 scale P-47D Thunderbolt & P-51D Mustang
This is a two model spacial with the P-47 & P-51 both in metal finishes.
The P-47D with be painted in Alclad lacquers and the P-51D will be painted in Vallejo acrylics.
In part one we build and weather the cockpits of both aircraft by washes and dry brushing.

In part two we carry on construction of the P-47 and P-51, including painting and weathering the engine on the P-47.

In part three we follow the P-51D build and find out that the Vallejo acrylics don't work out as expected and result in having to remove them from the model and sand the whole thing back and start again with a different acrylic paint Citadels. I also show how to paint Klear/Future on with a brush.
