Things are starting to get back to normal here and pushing ahead with some great video builds with the rest of the AH-64 Apache build coming up this week and then the 1/32 P-40 warhawk followed by the 1/48 scale Hobby Boss A-10 Thunderbolt with the Aires cockpits set.

I will be “off-line” for the next five days. This is because we are installing a new telephone line and changing our internet service provider.
I'll still be checking emails and visiting the site but due to the time it takes to upload videos, the new ones will have to wait until I’m fully back on line.
I have finished the Apache build and will start on the P-40. So as soon as I'm back on line there will be lots to watch.
Thanks for your understanding and hopefully this will be a short term problem.

In the final part of the the Draken build, we decal and then give the whole mode a heavy weathering wash and add streaking to the underside with the dark Promodellers wash. We then add further weathering to the rest of the model and add all the remaining parts to complete the model off ready for the reveal. Watch now.

In part four, we paint the whole aircraft, but it doesn't go totally to plan and we have to re paint the top dark grey again with a light shade of grey. We also pic out some of the darker panels and fade the paint work all ready for decaling. Watch now.

After talking to a few of the members in the forum who were having problems with there airbrushes, I have put a video up in the basic video tutorials to try and help with some of those problems.

Well are first month has gone since the expansion and it has gone better then we could of ever hopped.
In May we did:
Three builds, the F/A-18F, P-47D and P-51D, 12 episodes over 6 hours of video.
Over 180 hours in the chat rooms.
90,000 page views and 2,400 posts in the forum.

We found out Vallejo's metal colours don't like Klear/Future or much of anything else come to think of it , over them.

In part three we follow the P-51D build and find out that the Vallejo acrylics don't work out as expected and result in having to remove them from the model and sand the whole thing back and start again with a different acrylic paint Citadels. I also show how to paint Klear/Future on with a brush. Watch now

So part three is up now and four will go up on Friday and five will be up on Sunday.

A new two part 70 minute video on painting & weathering cockits. This uses a Aires aftermarket resin cockpit for the F-15E strike eagle. and goes right from removing the parts from the plugs, painting and weathering of the cockpit and seats and installing the photo-etched harnesses.
